Job Summary
Providing pricing and quotes for client and agent requests, the part-time Rate Analyst will deliver exceptional customer service while collaborating with Sales and Operations teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Generate quotes for clients, agents, and sales representatives within established time frames
- Maintain and update air and ocean freight carrier rates and quote logs
- Analyze carrier net rates to ensure competitive pricing and keep clients informed of industry changes
Required qualifications:
- Associates Degree or post-secondary education
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in international transportation
- Strong operational knowledge of air and ocean transportation requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and collaboration
