Job Summary
To support the financial accuracy of mental healthcare services, the full-time remote RCM Collections Specialist II will manage claims denials, conduct research to resolve issues, and implement process improvements to reduce denial inflow.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and resolve denied claims through inquiries and outbound calls to insurance representatives
- Resubmit claims with errors and draft appeals for relevant denials while adhering to medical policies
- Identify root causes of denials and suggest upstream fixes within the RCM process
Required qualifications:
- 3 years of Medical Billing experience
- Proficiency in multitasking and navigating different systems
- Strong ability to learn and follow new processes for resolution
- Experience in a start-up environment focused on Mental Health or Billing/Collections
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to promote a positive work atmosphere
