RCM Quality Audit Specialist

Job Summary

Ensuring the accuracy and compliance of revenue cycle processes, the full-time RCM Quality Audit Specialist will conduct audits, monitor key performance indicators, and identify process improvements while collaborating with various RCM leaders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality reviews and audits of revenue cycle claims and workflows against established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Develop and analyze quality improvement initiatives to support RCM operational functions
• Create and maintain quality measurements to track improvements in individual and team performance scores

Required qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in an auditing/QA role or equivalent RCM job-related experience
• 2+ years of experience with athenaHealth and/or athenaOne preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to use formulas, create graphs, and pivot tables
• Experience documenting clearly defined processes and standard operating procedures
