RCM Specialist II

Job Summary

To support behavioral health providers, the remote RCM Specialist II will manage accounts, resolve complex billing issues, and drive positive financial outcomes while collaborating with clinicians and practice owners.

Key responsibilities

• Submit, review, and process denied, rejected, and unpaid insurance claims with a focus on timely resolution
• Research and resolve claim issues by identifying root causes and recommending solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
• Own the accounts receivable process for assigned accounts, leveraging analytics to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 1 year of medical billing or revenue cycle management experience
• Strong understanding of insurance billing and therapy reimbursement processes
• Working knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, including claims submission and denial management
• Proficiency with billing systems and Microsoft Office applications
