R&D Compensation Lead
Job Summary
Partnering with R&D leadership, the full-time R&D Compensation Lead will design innovative compensation strategies and manage lifecycle compensation processes to attract and retain top engineering talent in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Co-create custom incentive models and specialized compensation structures tailored to R&D skill sets
- Own the execution of merit, equity refresh, and promotion cycles while advising on strategic executive hires
- Refine market pricing models and equity strategies to scale the global compensation structure
Required qualifications
- Deep understanding of competitive compensation landscapes for engineering and AI/ML talent
- Ability to develop custom compensation solutions using first-principles thinking
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with SQL, Python, or Tableau is a plus
- Experience in building scalable compensation solutions across complex systems
- Confidence to partner with executive leadership on sensitive pay decisions and M&A integrations
