R&D Finance Manager

Job Summary

Managing financial planning and performance for early development programs, the full-time R&D Project Finance Manager will develop and track project budgets, perform monthly accruals, and provide financial insights to support decision-making in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly accruals for R&D project contracts to ensure alignment with budgets and timelines
• Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts, identifying financial risks and opportunities
• Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and Project teams, offering financial guidance for trial activities

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Experience in Clinical Trial Financial Management
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; knowledge of Oracle is a plus
