Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time R&D Hardware Engineer will design and validate high-speed serial interfaces while collaborating with global teams to optimize PCB designs and meet performance specifications in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Model and optimize high-frequency PCB, IC packages, and high-speed digital I/O interconnects operating at 100G/200G PAM4 and above
- Collaborate with system, hardware, board design, and test teams to define hardware requirements and performance to satisfy signal integrity needs
- Investigate next-generation materials and processes in PCB fabrication to meet stringent signal integrity requirements
Required qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in hardware/circuit and IC package design or high-frequency modeling/optimization
- Fluent in ANSYS HFSS and 3D-Layout and Polar Instruments
- Proven experience with semiconductor, packaging, substrates, and printed circuit board technologies
- Understanding of PCB design methodologies, processes, and workflows preferred
