R&D Strategy Associate Director

Job Summary

To support the development and execution of strategic priorities within the global Research & Development organization, the full-time R&D Strategy Associate Director will lead strategic analyses, manage initiatives, and provide executive decision support, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic analyses addressing R&D priorities and evaluate new opportunities to develop actionable recommendations
• Independently manage strategic workstreams and special projects, collaborating with various functions to advance cross-functional priorities
• Develop high-quality executive presentations and materials to support R&D leadership decision-making processes

Required qualifications

• Experience in biopharma, life sciences consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, particularly in drug discovery and clinical development
• Demonstrated ability to independently structure and solve ambiguous strategic questions
• Exceptional analytical and synthesis capabilities, with strong project management skills
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
