Job Summary

Supporting the retail real estate strategy, the full-time Remote Director, Senior Corporate Counsel - Real Estate will manage legal transactions related to new store development, lease negotiations, and property management while providing strategic counsel to internal teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, negotiate, and oversee documentation for retail real estate transactions, including leases and construction contracts
• Provide legal counsel to internal clients, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and advising on real estate matters
• Manage third-party relationships and oversee outside counsel in real estate transaction documentation and litigation support

Required qualifications:

• Advanced degree and Juris Doctor (JD)
• 8+ years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
• 5-7 years of experience specifically in commercial retail real estate transactions
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters related to real estate
• Experience managing outside counsel and legal budgets
