Reconsideration Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Reconsideration Analyst III will make second-level non-medical appeal decisions for beneficiaries, supplies, or providers while ensuring compliance with regulations and addressing all appeal issues raised.
Key responsibilities
- Writes clear reconsideration decisions that support determinations made
- Conducts research using federal regulations and related resources to ensure accurate and well-supported decisions
- Organizes documents and ensures compliance with Privacy Act provisions
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of general office experience
- Two (2) years of experience in high volume customer calls, appeals, or billing
- Medicare Part A knowledge preferred
- Resided in the United States for a minimum of three (3) years out of the last five (5) years
