Job Summary

Making second-level non-medical appeal decisions remotely, the full-time Reconsideration Analyst III will write clear reconsideration decisions, ensure all appeal issues are addressed, and conduct thorough research based on regulations and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Writes clear reconsideration decisions that support the determinations made
• Addresses all appeal issues raised by beneficiaries, representatives, suppliers, and providers
• Conducts research using federal regulations and related resources to support accurate decision-making

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of general office experience
• Two years of experience handling high volumes of customer calls, appeals, or billing
• Medicare knowledge preferred
• Residency in the United States for a minimum of three years out of the last five years
