Job Summary
Serving as the first touchpoint for members, the full-time Recovery Access Specialist will manage incoming calls, provide information on services, and facilitate client intake processes while working Monday to Friday from 11am to 7pm EST.
Key responsibilities
- Answer all calls in a welcoming manner and provide educated responses to clinical inquiries
- Initiate client Biopsychosocial Assessments using motivational interviewing techniques to determine eligibility for programs
- Schedule initial intake appointments and coordinate client no-shows with clinic coordinators to ensure a seamless intake process
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience in human services, healthcare, or customer service roles
- Access to reliable internet and telephone services with specified bandwidth requirements
- Must meet pre-employment requirements, including background screening and potential health screenings
- Strong telecommunication skills and comfort with multiple IT systems and applications
