Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of moderately complex, past-due business accounts, the full-time Recovery Agent will utilize standard collection techniques to resolve account delinquency and secure cash flow while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily communication with delinquent commercial customers to cure past-due debt and secure payments
- Educate customers on account terms and conditions while effectively resolving complex delinquent balances
- Perform skip tracing and utilize multiple systems/tools to facilitate the collections process
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma with 1-2 years of experience in a related field
- At least one year of transportation industry customer support experience
- Basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- Proficient computer skills including Google Sheets and Office suite products
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound decision-making skills
