Red Hat Consultant
Job Summary
To support a DoD customer's enterprise automation work, the fully remote Red Hat Consultant (Ansible Automation Platform / AAP) will design, deploy, and operate AAP while building automation content to reduce manual tasks across the customer's infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, install, configure, and upgrade Ansible Automation Platform components
- Develop, test, and maintain playbooks, roles, and collections for infrastructure automation
- Automate security hardening and compliance across RHEL and Windows systems
Required qualifications:
- 5 - 7 years of professional experience in relevant fields
- Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship status required
- Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform 2.x
- Advanced RHEL administration skills (RHEL 8/9)
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
