Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

To optimize the referral capture process for healthcare organizations, the full-time remote Referral Coordinator will manage claim reviews, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting and capturing eligible claims accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Review and document potentially eligible prescription claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program criteria
• Develop and present detailed reports on claim status and program analytics to clients while coordinating meetings with stakeholders
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and assist with training and onboarding of new team members as needed

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and multiple platforms
• Strong customer service orientation with experience in client meetings and presentations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with 340B program operations or referral management platforms is preferred
