Job Summary

Managing the referral intake process, the full-time Referral Coordinator - SC, TX, IL, CO will ensure patients are triaged, matched with appropriate providers, and scheduled promptly while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and enter referrals into the system, ensuring eligibility verification and proper triage
• Contact patients to confirm service interest, verify insurance, and schedule appointments
• Manage follow-up communications and discharge patients after unsuccessful contact attempts

Required qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in health sciences, psychology, or a related field
• 1+ year of experience in a medical or behavioral health administrative role
• Familiarity with mental health service types and terminology
• Strong phone communication and patient-facing skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
