Job Summary

Processing referrals for ambulatory services, the full-time Referral Program Coordinator will manage internal and external referrals, obtain prior authorizations, and schedule patients while working day shifts in Amarillo, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Process internal, incoming, and external referrals for ambulatory services, procedures, and medications
• Obtain prior authorizations, schedule patients, and handle inbound and outbound phone calls
• Communicate with patients via online chat to ensure efficient service delivery

Required qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
