Referral Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing legal practice, the full-time Referral Specialist will coordinate incoming attorney referrals, manage communication and documentation, and track financial details while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, acknowledge, and track incoming referrals, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and communicated effectively
• Maintain the pending referral queue, prepare case summaries, and follow up on pending placements to ensure timely client intake and handoff
• Monitor active referred-out cases, obtaining regular status updates and maintaining accurate records and financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) communication skills
• Paralegal degree, training, or certification (ABA approved program)
• Two years of personal injury or medical malpractice law firm experience in referrals, intake, legal assistant, paralegal, or case coordination
• Proficiency with practice management or CRM systems and digital file management
• Strong organization, accuracy, and follow-through with the ability to manage a high volume of matters independently
