Referral Specialist - Florida Licensed

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Referral Specialist - Florida Licensed will communicate with patients, physicians, and coworkers while managing referral orders and scheduling procedures in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain referral integrity by processing orders and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements
• Answer patient inquiries and schedule necessary procedures while providing superior customer service
• Collaborate with team members and stay updated on referral orders to meet the standard of care

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding experience preferred
• Administrative or clerical experience in healthcare or call center settings preferred
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and medical terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
