Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Job Summary
To support a growing virtual weight management program, the full-time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will assess and monitor patients' nutritional status, provide medical nutrition therapy, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and monitor nutritional status, adjusting care based on scientific literature and clinical evaluations
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling, developing and implementing personalized nutrition plans
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into comprehensive patient care
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree if RD before 1/1/2024; Master's degree if RD on or after 1/1/2024
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or eligible for RD/LDN registry, with state licensure required
- Specialty certification (e.g., CDCES, CNSC) may be required based on department needs
- Knowledge of growth and development principles relevant to diverse patient populations
- Experience in providing nutrition education and counseling
