Job Summary
Providing remote nutrition counseling and weight management education, the part-time Registered Dietitian - Telehealth will engage with patients through various digital platforms while managing comorbidities and collaborating with healthcare providers.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education via phone, video, chat, text, and email
- Provide medication management and support for obesity-related comorbidities under physician supervision
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to support behavior change and establish rapport with patients
Required qualifications
- Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration with state licensure as required
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses to support patient coverage
- Ability to maintain a HIPAA-compliant workspace with high-speed internet
- Experience with electronic medical records and digital tools
- Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week without holding full-time employment elsewhere
