Job Summary
To support health information management initiatives, the full-time Remote Registered Health Information Analyst will analyze medical records, verify provider deficiencies, and ensure documentation compliance while working Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm Alaska time.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct medical record analysis and verify completeness of documentation
- Electronically assign deficiencies to providers and perform follow-ups on completion
- Perform monthly clinical pertinence reviews and document findings in designated software
Required qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Health Information Management or Medical Records in an acute care setting
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification upon hire
