Overseeing the Health Information Management team, the full-time Registered Health Information Manager will ensure exceptional client service while managing workflows, compliance with healthcare regulations, and collaboration between payers and providers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee medical record requests and process improvements while managing vendor and provider relationships
- Conduct quality assurance monitoring for HIM staff and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to enhance processes and strengthen client communications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health information management
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential in good standing
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy standards
- Experience leading or managing a team
