Registered Nurse - Cardiology
Job Summary
Supporting a virtual cardiology team, the full-time remote Registered Nurse - Cardiology will coordinate patient care, provide education on diagnoses and treatment plans, and ensure timely support throughout the care journey.
Key responsibilities
- Provide education and counseling to patients about their diagnoses, test results, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with cardiologists and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and conduct follow-up virtual visits to monitor progress and address concerns
Required qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact)
- At least 3+ years of experience in cardiology; telemedicine experience is a plus
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions under supervision
- Commitment to patient-centered care and empathy for patients with chronic cardiology conditions
