Registered Nurse Case Manager
Job Summary
To support injured workers remotely, the full-time Registered Nurse Case Manager will create case management strategies, perform clinical assessments via telephone, and advocate for effective medical treatment while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments to evaluate the injured worker's needs and treatment progress
- Build relationships with claims examiners, clients, and medical providers to facilitate communication and care coordination
- Identify and address issues related to recovery delays and negotiate treatment plans with healthcare providers
Required qualifications
- Current unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience preferred
- Certification in case management, rehabilitation nursing, or a related specialty is highly preferred
