Registered Nurse Clinical Consultant
Job Summary
To support an upcoming clinical project, the fully remote Registered Nurse Clinical Consultant will conduct comprehensive medical record reviews, evaluate complex patient histories, and apply strong clinical judgment while managing a high-volume workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical record and clinical chart reviews to identify and accurately capture relevant patient health information
- Analyze and synthesize multi-system patient histories using strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
- Independently manage a high-volume chart review workload while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Extensive clinical nursing experience with a diverse patient population
- Experience in one or more specialties such as ER, ICU, PCU/Step-Down, Long-Term Care, Wound Care, or Cardiac Care
- Previous experience with utilization review, chart review, or clinical documentation review is highly desirable
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
