Registered Nurse Director of Denial Management

Job Summary

Leading systemwide initiatives, the full-time remote Registered Nurse Director of Denial Management will develop strategies to reduce preventable denials, oversee appeals management, and collaborate with senior leaders to optimize reimbursement performance across a multi-hospital healthcare system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen reimbursement processes and improve financial outcomes
• Provide strategic oversight of clinical and technical appeals operations, including vendor performance and process optimization
• Leverage analytics and industry benchmarks to establish performance goals and guide strategic decisions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration
• 5-7 years of Revenue Cycle experience, including appeals and financial clearance
• Leadership experience in the healthcare industry, preferably with a focus on revenue cycle
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure preferred
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
