Registered Nurse NCLEX Mentor
Job Summary
To support nursing graduates in their preparation for the NCLEX-RN, the part-time contract Registered Nurse NCLEX Mentor will provide individualized instruction and tutoring remotely, meeting weekly with students to build study plans and document progress over a 7.5-week contract.
Key responsibilities
- Meet with assigned students within the first two weeks to create their NCLEX Pass Plan
- Conduct weekly meetings via video or phone to set deliverables and track student progress
- Analyze NCLEX performance reports and coach on test-taking strategies and clinical judgment
Required qualifications
- Active, unencumbered registered nurse license in the state of residence
- BSN or higher from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing practice
- Working knowledge of the NCLEX-RN Test Plan and NCSBN Clinical Judgment Measurement Model
- Completion of Joyce NCLEX Mentor training before the first contract
