Registered Nurse Triage (Remote)

Job Summary

To support patient access and care, the part-time Registered Nurse Triage (Remote) will assess patient needs telephonically, determine appropriate care levels, and provide education and follow-up instructions while collaborating with healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilizes established protocols to assess patient needs and determine the appropriate level of care
• Prioritizes patient interactions based on acuity and applies evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety
• Maintains accurate clinical records and communicates patient information to the healthcare team effectively

Required qualifications:

• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent knowledge
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, preferably in ED or Urgent Care
• Experience with electronic medical records and documentation techniques
• Ability to work every fourth weekend and holiday rotation
