Registered Pharmacist

Job Summary

Supporting the clinical, operational, and financial needs of the Delaware Medicaid Fee-for-Service line of business, the remote Preferred Drug List (PDL) Pharmacist will oversee the development and maintenance of a fiscally responsible PDL while managing drug market changes and collaborating across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for PDL maintenance and development for the State of Delaware
• Oversee PDL operations, monitoring drug launches, pricing changes, and market developments
• Analyze clinical evidence and market trends to provide strategic recommendations for drug coverage and utilization management

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Pharmacist license in any state
• PharmD or equivalent education and experience, with at least three years in pharmacy benefits management or managed care
• Knowledge of Medicaid at the state and/or federal level, including experience in healthcare technology and pharmacy analytics
• Experience supporting Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and managing formularies from clinical, operational, and financial perspectives
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex clinical and business information into actionable recommendations
