Registered Pharmacist Manager
Job Summary
Leading the Trade Relations team, the full-time remote Sr. Manager, Industry Relations (RPh) will establish and enhance relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, negotiate distribution contracts, and develop strategies to maximize access to specialty pharmaceuticals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and coach the trade relations team, ensuring effective execution of engagement strategies
- Direct negotiations of distribution agreements and oversee the implementation to achieve compliance and cost savings
- Develop manufacturer strategies related to clinical disease states and oversee the clinical drug pipeline
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required; MBA or other graduate degree preferred
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of residence
- 7+ years of specialty pharmacy or pharmaceutical industry experience required
- 5+ years of contract negotiation experience, preferably in specialty pharmacy
- 3+ years of people-leadership or team-management experience required
