Job Summary
Leading the Trade Relations team, the full-time remote Senior Manager, Industry Relations (RPh) will establish and enhance relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, negotiate contracts, and oversee strategies to maximize access to specialty pharmaceuticals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Trade Relations team, ensuring effective execution of engagement strategies with manufacturers
- Direct negotiations for distribution and procurement agreements to achieve compliance and maximize cost savings
- Oversee the clinical drug pipeline and identify opportunities for manufacturer programs through RFPs and RFIs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required; MBA or other graduate degree preferred
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of residence
- 7+ years of specialty pharmacy or pharmaceutical industry experience required
- 5+ years of contract negotiation experience, preferably in specialty pharmacy
- 3+ years of experience in people leadership or team management
