Regulatory Science Director

Job Summary

Leading the development and implementation of regulatory science strategies, the full-time salaried Regulatory Science Director will oversee technical education programs and competency frameworks while working remotely to enhance environmental testing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement divisional regulatory science and technical competency strategies aligned with environmental regulations and business needs
• Lead the design and delivery of technical education programs to strengthen the application of environmental testing methods
• Establish role-based competency frameworks and assessment processes to ensure personnel demonstrate required technical knowledge and skills

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in environmental laboratory testing services, with at least five years in a leadership role
• Knowledge of environmental regulatory science, analytical chemistry, and laboratory testing methods
• Experience with environmental laboratory accreditation and certification requirements
• Proven ability to develop and implement technical education programs and competency frameworks
