Reimbursement Analyst III

Job Summary

To support financial operations remotely, the full-time salaried Reimbursement Analyst III will manage the preparation of cost reports for various healthcare facilities, assist with Medicare audit support, and evaluate net patient services revenue and accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Medicare cost reports and provide audit support for Regions and HealthPartners affiliates
• Conduct monthly analysis and valuation of net patient services revenue and accounts receivable
• Model and audit decision support system reimbursement, analyzing regulatory changes as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of experience in Medicare cost reporting or related healthcare finance area
• Advanced knowledge of hospital accounting and Medicare cost accounting fundamentals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and cost report preparation software
• Ability to work independently with light supervision
