Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing homecare infusion practice, the full-time Reimbursement Specialist will manage patient billing and collections, ensure proper follow-up on revenue cycle processes, and maintain documentation while working remotely with occasional office visits in New Providence, NJ.

Key responsibilities

• Collect third-party payor accounts for assigned payers and perform follow-ups on reimbursement-related issues
• Maintain and update documentation to assist the Intake Team with insurance policies and limitations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely collections and troubleshoot billing issues from patients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in electronic claims submission and medical collections preferred
• Working knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Industry experience with billing/collections in DME, home infusion, and/or enteral preferred
• Knowledge of CPR+ and/or Caretend software preferred
