Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Reimbursement Specialist, the full-time position will manage patient billing and collections, ensuring proficiency in insurance data collection and authorization while working remotely with a hybrid schedule from New Providence, NJ.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee collections of third-party payor accounts and ensure proper follow-up on all revenue cycle aspects related to reimbursement
• Maintain and update documentation to assist the Intake Team with insurance policies and limitations
• Collaborate with department staff to resolve billing issues and assist with end-of-month processes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in electronic claims submission and medical collections preferred
• Working knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Industry experience with billing/collections in DME, home infusion, and/or enteral preferred
• Knowledge of CPR+ and/or Caretend software preferred
