Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Reimbursement Specialist for a full-time hybrid role in New Providence, NJ, who will manage patient billing and collections, ensure accurate insurance data collection and verification, and maintain documentation for patient admissions in the homecare infusion industry.

Key responsibilities

• Collect third-party payor accounts and ensure proper follow-up on revenue cycle aspects related to reimbursement
• Maintain and update documentation to assist the Intake Team with insurance policies and limitations
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and ensure timely collections

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in electronic claims submission and medical collections preferred
• Working knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Industry experience with billing/collections in DME, home infusion, and/or enteral preferred
• Experience with CPR+ and/or Caretend software preferred
