Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Reimbursement Specialist will engage with patients and providers to resolve billing inquiries, manage aged accounts, and review insurance coverage for genetic testing.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with patients via telephone, email, and live chat to facilitate account collections
• Research and reconcile aged accounts while processing necessary adjustments
• Document activities in process notes and participate in Quality Assurance plans

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 1+ years of experience in customer service, medical billing, health insurance, or collections preferred
• Insurance billing experience with knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
