Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Reimbursement Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage patient billing and collections, ensuring compliance with insurance data collection and authorization processes in a fast-paced homecare infusion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect third-party payor accounts and ensure proper follow-up on revenue cycle aspects related to reimbursement
• Maintain and update documentation to assist the Intake Team with insurance policies and limitations
• Field and troubleshoot patient inquiries regarding benefits, claims, and balances while proactively resolving billing issues

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in electronic claims submission and medical collections preferred
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid insurance plans required
• Industry experience in billing/collections for DME, home infusion, and/or enteral preferred
• Familiarity with CPR+ and/or Caretend software preferred
