Reimbursement Specialist - NC Licensed

Job Summary

To support the Patient Revenue Management Organization, the remote Reimbursement Specialist - NC Licensed will analyze departmental reports, ensure accurate billing compliance, and coordinate projects to enhance revenue cycle efficiency while residing in North Carolina.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze and provide feedback on departmental performance reports to identify trends and make recommendations
• Utilize clinical and coding knowledge to ensure billing accuracy and resolve inconsistencies
• Coordinate communication between insurance companies, governmental agencies, and internal staff to improve revenue cycle processes

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with post-secondary courses in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Four years of related experience in healthcare, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field as a substitute for experience
• Knowledge of revenue cycle management and billing processes
• Experience in analyzing financial data and reporting trends
• Ability to develop and provide training to new and existing employees
