Reinforcement Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Building and owning the infrastructure foundation of the reinforcement learning framework, the full-time Reinforcement Learning Engineer will collaborate with gameplay teams to enhance game experiences and optimize RL pipelines for the upcoming flagship title, Varsapura, in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the gameplay team to deliver machine learning and AI solutions that enhance gameplay
• Prototype, optimize, and productionize reinforcement learning pipelines in partnership with gameplay engineers
• Take ownership of the technical roadmap for RL infrastructure, focusing on reliability, scalability, and iteration speed

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning, or related technical roles
• Strong proficiency with Python and C++
• Experience with game development workflows, including debugging, profiling, and version control
• Solid understanding of deep neural network architectures and reinforcement learning concepts
• Experience deploying and optimizing machine learning applications in production environments
