Release and Change Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading the modernization of software and infrastructure releases, the full-time salaried Release and Change Engineering Manager will unify Release Management and Change Management functions, focusing on automating processes and enhancing deployment safety in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end software release process, including decision authority for complex releases
- Lead enterprise change management processes and chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using change failure data to enhance release and change engineering
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or related software delivery functions
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Experience leading Change Advisory Board meetings or similar technical risk-management processes
- Proficient in scripting and automation tools like Python or PowerShell
- Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL change management principles and operational controls
