Release Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Release Manager will oversee the end-to-end release process, coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives, and manage release schedules and documentation for software deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the release schedule while collaborating with product managers and engineering teams
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing and production deployment activities, ensuring successful releases and rollback plans
• Communicate release schedules and status updates to stakeholders, maintaining detailed documentation of processes and risks

Required qualifications

• Experience in release management and software deployment processes
• Proficiency in Jira administration, including workflow design and automation
• Strong understanding of risk management and change control processes
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams during incidents and manage incident response lifecycles
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and project management principles
