Release Manager
Job Summary
Managing the release calendar, the full-time Release Manager will plan, schedule, and coordinate releases across development, QA, UAT, and production in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the release calendar and manage release pipelines and approval gates in Azure DevOps
- Run go/no-go meetings, release readiness reviews, and post-release retrospectives
- Track release scope, dependencies, and risks while communicating status to engineering leads and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in release management, build and release engineering, or DevOps in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including multi-stage pipelines and branching strategies
- Experience releasing .NET applications to Azure
- Strong understanding of ITIL change management and CAB processes
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, federal or government, or healthcare
