Release Manager
Job Summary
Managing the release calendar for development, QA, UAT, and production, the full-time Release Manager will coordinate releases, run go/no-go meetings, and oversee release documentation while working remotely on a 12-month contract with potential conversion.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate releases across various environments
- Manage release pipelines and approval gates in Azure DevOps, ensuring compliance and security requirements are met
- Track release scope, dependencies, and risks, communicating status to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in release management, build and release engineering, or DevOps in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including multi-stage pipelines and branching strategies
- Experience releasing .NET applications to Azure
- Strong understanding of ITIL change management and CAB processes
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, federal or government, or healthcare
