Job Summary
Owning the release calendar, the full-time Release Manager will manage planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases across development, QA, UAT, and production in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate go/no-go meetings, release readiness reviews, and post-release retrospectives
- Manage release pipelines and approval gates in Azure DevOps, ensuring compliance with security and audit requirements
- Track release scope, dependencies, and risks, providing status updates to engineering leads and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in release management, build and release engineering, or DevOps in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including multi-stage pipelines and branching strategies
- Experience releasing .NET applications to Azure
- Strong understanding of ITIL change management and CAB processes
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, federal or government, or healthcare
