Job Summary
To drive effective product delivery, the full-time remote Release Manager will design and enhance release management processes, coordinate cross-team planning, and ensure timely releases while collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the release management process, including cadence and readiness criteria
- Build and maintain tooling, templates, runbooks, and documentation to facilitate low-friction release processes
- Partner with engineering leads and product managers to identify risks early and ensure timely resolutions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in engineering operations, release management, or a closely related role at a software company
- Direct experience in building or significantly improving release management processes
- Technical fluency in software development, including build systems and deployment pipelines
- Strong instincts for optimizing processes for trust and adoption
- Ability to build structure from scratch in ambiguous situations
