Job Summary
A non-profit healthcare provider has an open position for a Remote 3Outpatient Medical Record Coder.
Must be able to:
- Assign discharge dispositions accurately
- Maintain CPT and Modifier Accuracy Rate
- Maintain CPT scores as outlined by director of coding operations and coding manager
Position Requirements Include:
- High School or GED and completion of AHIMA-approved coding, or health information technology program/administration
- At least three years recent coding experience in acute care setting, integrated hospital system, or multi-specialty physician practice
- Registered Health Information Technician
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work independently in a remote fast paced production environment
- ICD-10-CM proficiency
