Remote Accountant

Job Summary

Performing moderately complex accounting tasks, the full-time Remote Accountant will manage financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and regulatory filings, and conduct financial analyses
• Ensure timely posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger for each entity
• Collaborate with auditors and business partners on compliance and budget activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting environment
• Knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting principles
• Proficiency in spreadsheet applications
• Clean credit history as reported by credit report
