Remote Accounting Consultant
Job Summary
Providing accounting support for Optum Serve, the full-time Remote Accounting Consultant will manage month-end close processes, financial reporting, and internal controls while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end processes, including P&L review, cash flow forecasting, and internal controls documentation
- Support statutory financial audits and prepare financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations for Global Medical Services
- Assist in special accounting projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payroll reporting issues
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Ability to manage demands from businesses across different time zones
